7. Biometric Information (Providers)

Providers who apply to be listed on OneStopPros verify their identity through Didit, our identity verification provider. During this check Didit collects a photo of the provider's government ID and a selfie, and creates biometric data from the provider's face (a face geometry template) to confirm that the selfie matches the ID. We collect this only with the provider's written consent, given in the app before the check starts.

OneStopPros does not receive or store ID images, selfies or face templates. We keep only the result of the check: the provider that ran it, its reference number, the date, the type and issuing country of the ID, whether it passed, and the reason if it did not.

Didit permanently deletes the ID images, selfie and biometric data as soon as the check has a final result, and in any case no later than 30 days after the check starts. We do not sell, lease, trade or otherwise profit from biometric data, and we disclose it only to Didit for the purpose of the check or where the law requires it.
